Many members of the Abington Heights indoor track and field team competed in events during the weekend of Jan. 20-21.

Katie Dammer placed second in the invitational girls one-mile run (5:00.12) and Dani Heine finished third in the varsity girls pole vault (11-06.00) during the New Balance Games at The Armory Track and Field Center in New York City Jan. 20.

Emma Marion placed third in the girls 1,600 meter run (5:58.45) and 14th in the 800 meter run (2:50.19) during the Run at the Rec at Clarks Summit University Jan. 19. Abby Marion was 13th in the 1,600 meter run (6:18.73) and 18th in the 800 meter run (2:55.26), Emma Arbuckle placed 29th in the 1,600 meter run (6:56.32) and 33rd is the 800 meter run (3:05.94), Emily Clauss finished fourth in the 200 meter dash (29.57) and seventh in the 55 meter dash (8.14), Maggie Carper was 10th in the 200 meter dash (30.76), Maddie Lucas placed ninth in the 55 meter hurdles (10.92) and 14th in the 200 meter dash (31.46), Grace Phillips finished fourth in the 55 meter hurdles (10.31) and 16th in the 200 meter dash (32.24), Maia Arcangelo was 22nd in the 200 meter dash (34.27), Ellie Saunders placed 24th in the 200 meter dash (34.62), Dani Beamish finished second in the 400 meter dash (1:05.24), Alea Dorunda was 21st in the 400 meter dash (1:19.44), Grace Bath placed 26th in the 400 meter dash (1:24.69), Calista Marzolino finished first in the 55 meter hurdles (9.25), second in the girls shot put (32-08.00) and fourth in the girls high jump (4-08.00), Zoe Detter was fifth in the 800 meter run, Mariel Curra placed second in the high jump (4-08.00), Sky Smith placed third in the shot put (31-02.00), Jill Bird finished fifth in the shot put (29-02.00) and Megan Healey was 10th in the shot put (25-11.25).

In the boys competition, Kyle Burke placed first in the 1,600 meter run (4:39.77) and third in the 800 meter run, Ethan Mattox finished 16th in the 1,600 meter run (5:14.65) and 17th in the 800 meter run (2:21.77), Stephen Haggerty was 17th in the boys 1,600 run (5:16.86) and 26th in the 800 meter run (2:29.41), Ryan Siebecker placed 18th in the 1,600 meter run (5:17.12) and 22nd in the 800 meter run (2:25.23), Noah Bolus finished 23rd in the 1,600 meter run (5:24.59) and 27th in the 800 meter run (2:29.88), Sam Traweek was 31st in the 1,600 meter run (5:48.71), Alex Duffy placed 13th in the 3,000 meter run (11:09.96), Damon Martin finished 12th in the 400 meter dash (59.64), Connor Kryeski was 19th in the 400 meter dash (1:02.64) and 33rd in the 800 meter run (2:31.37), Joseph Danoski was 30th in the 400 meter dash (1:07.64) and 45th in the 800 meter run (2:47.72), Micah Beahan placed 36th in the 400 meter dash (1:20.62), and Nick Klapatch finished 42nd in the 800 meter run (2:40.53).
