S. ABINGTON TWP. — The Abington Gators earned wins over the Berwick Bulldogs during a Northeastern Pennsylvania Age Group Swim League meet Jan. 27.

The boys won, 185-37, and the girls picked up a 164-76 victory.

During the boys meet, Jack Walsh placed first in the 14U 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, Ryan Walsh finished first in the 10U 100 individual medley, Jason Casper was first in the 10U 50 freestyle, Kevin Guditus placed first in the 14U 50 freestyle, Adrian Azar finished first in the 8U 25 butterfly, Brody Goldberg was first in the 8U 50 freestyle, Lucas Allspaugh placed first in the 8U 25 backstroke and Geoff Brock finished first in the 12U 50 breaststroke.

Also, the 8U 100 medley relay team (Rory Moher, Alexander Lin, John Roman Vachino and Anthony Hanyon) and 12U 200 medley relay team (Saye Takehara, Geoff Brock, Jackson Wentz and Eric Moran) each placed first.

During the girls meet, Lily Gifford placed first in the 12U 200 freestyle, Domenica Scott finished first in the 14U 200 freestyle, Audra Wimmer was first in the 10U 100 individual medley, Maisy Earl placed first in the 12U 100 individual medley, Katie Giermanski finished first in the 8U 25 freestyle, Gianna Vachino was first in the 10U 100 freestyle, Giavanna Matrone placed first in the 12U 100 freestyle, Allie Pettinato finished first in the 12U 50 backstroke and Leah Ludwikowski was first in the 14U 100 breaststroke.

Also, the 8U 100 medley relay team (Katie Giermanski, Kara Rillstone, Hadley Pallman and Natalia Matrone) and 12U 200 medley relay team (Maggie Walko, Kailey Rillstone, Veronica Matthies, and Sunserray Lynch) each placed first.
