The Abington Heights junior high seventh and eighth-grade boys basketball teams recently wrapped up successful seasons.

The seventh-grade team finished with a 19-2 record and won all three tournaments the squad entered, the Blue Ridge tournament, the Backcourt Hoops Holiday tournament, and also the Newark Academy tournament. Their most notable wins were against Middlesex Middle School (New Jersey), New Heights Middle School (New York), North Pocono and Northeast Intermediate.

The eighth-grade team finished with a 23-2 record. They won the league championship and three of the four tournaments they entered. They won the Blue Ridge tournament, the Backcourt Hoops tournament and the Newark Academy tournament, and placed second in the Pennsylvania Championships tournament, in Allentown, in overtime. Their most notable wins were against Norton Middle School (Norristown), East Penn Middle School (Emmaus) Middlesex Middle School, (New Jersey) and Northeast Intermediate.
