Abington Heights’ Zach Rundell receives bike sponsorship

Zack Rundell, a 17-year-old student at Abington Heights High School, received a full sponsorship for mountain bike racing from Cannondale Bicycle Corporation through Sickler’s Bike Shop. During this year’s racing season, Rundell will ride the F-SI, an award-winning cross-country hardtail designed for the demands of modern cross-country racing. With a lightweight carbon frame, it’s built for speed, while the super short chainstays provide the stability and agility needed on today’s challenging cross-country courses. Rundell is a category 1- ranked junior based on his finishes last season. He will be racingthroughout the Northeast this spring in preparation for the Mountain Bike Racing Nationals in Snow Shoe, West Virginia in July.
