Abington Heights students excelling on Keystone Composite Bike Team

The Keystone Composite Interscholastic Mountain Bike Team, whose home base is Lackawanna State Park, had 15 student-athletes compete at the National Interscholastic Cycling Association/Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League race at Gettysburg Sept. 23-24. The team brought home four medals, one series leader jersey, and two Teen Trail Corps leader jerseys. From left, Hannah Puttcamp (Abington Heights), third place in the eighth-grade female division and Teen Trail Corps leader in the eighth-grade female division; Brynn Carey (Abington Heights), first place in the eighth-grade female division; Kate O’Brien (Abington Heights), third place in the freshman female division; and David Schuster (Abington Heights), first place in the freshman male division and current holder of the yellow series leader jersey. Absent at the time of the photo was Gabby Watson (Mid Valley), the Teen Trail Corps leader in the sixth-grade female division.
