ROSEMONT — The Keystone College women’s lacrosse team was picked first by the head coaches in the 2019 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll released Feb. 13.

The Giants received 29 points and one first-place vote, while Notre Dame of Maryland University was second with 27 points and two first-place votes.

Bryn Athyn College, in its first year in the CSAC as a core member, was picked third with 26 points and two first-place votes.

Centenary University was fourth with 18 points, followed by Cedar Crest in fifth with 17 points and one first-place vote, and Rosemont in sixth with nine points.

Coaches were permitted to vote for their own teams.

The season starts with two games on Saturday, Feb. 23 as Goucher heads to Cedar Crest and Keystone heads to Lancaster Bible.

The league schedule starts Saturday, March 23, as Centenary heads to Notre Dame.

The CSAC playoffs are set to start on Wednesday, May 1, with the top four teams qualifying. The championship game is set for Saturday, May 4, at the highest remaining seed.
