Keystone College graduate Kevin Luciano helped Puerto Rico win its first Pan American Games baseball gold medal earlier this month in Lima, Peru.

Puerto Rico ended Canada’s two-year run as champion with a 6-1 victory in the championship game.

Luciano, a 2015 Keystone graduate who grew up in Massachusetts, played first base for Puerto Rico. He doubled and homered in a win over Canada earlier in the tournament and had another double in the championship game.

At Keystone, Luciano led the team with a .400 batting average while hitting five home runs and driving in 47 runs in 46 games as a senior.
