Keystone Mountain Bike team members Brynn Carey and Hannah Puttcamp finished second and third in the freshman girls division when the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League held its state finals at Jordan Creek Park in Allentown in October.

Carey and Puttcamp are both Abington Heights students.

David Schuster, Ethan Fenner and Landry Crawford were the other second-place finishers from Keystone Mountain Bike, a co-ed team of 34, based out of Lackawanna State Park.

Schuster, an Abington Heights sophomore, was in the junior varsity division. Fenner, from Susquehanna Prep, was in the seventh-grade boys division. Crawford, a homeschooled student from Factoryville, was in sixth-grade boys.

Gabrielle Watson from Mid Valley was third in seventh-grade girls.

Keystone, which has team members from Abington Heights, Lackawanna Trail, Valley View, Scranton Prep, Mountain View and Susquehanna Prep, had 22 of the 529 student-athletes who competed in the state finals.
