Students from Abington Heights High School’s Advanced Studio Art Class had their design selected as the Judges’ Pick for District 4 in PennDOT’s Paint the Plow program.

High school students, across the state, were invited to paint a snow plow blade with artwork. The painted blades will run throughout the school’s community during the winter. The contest promotes safety and fosters appreciation of both PennDOT and the school’s art program.

The painting had to include a safety message and the Abington Heights students chose “Don’t Crowd the Plow.” They also incorporated the school’s mascot, Comet the Bear, in the design.
