The NEPA Miners Semi-Pro football team has reached the halfway point of its Regional American Football League (RAFL) regular season and is 3-1, sitting a half game out of first place in the North East Division.
The Miners return home Saturday, August 29 to host the defending RAFL champion Brooklyn Mariners. Fans will be able to drop off used clothing at a central location in Carbondale joining the Miners in raising money to support the Friendship House in supporting their Northeast Regional Autism Center.
