Jared Jenkins passed for 297 yards and four touchdowns while running for another score Sept. 30 when Moravian University downed host Keystone College, 58-34, in a Landmark Conference football debut.
Damir Green ran for 155 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
The loss was the fourth straight for Keystone since an Opening Day loss.
The Giants lost, 31-21, at Hartwick; fell to visiting St. John Fisher, 35-20; and lost at Hobart, 43-10.
Keystone had a pair of two-touchdown leads at Hartwick, including 21-7 at halftime. It was up 10-3 until the last 10 minutes of the first half before Hobart scored the game’s last 40 points.
MEN’S SOCCER
David Sage scored in the first half to lift Clarks Summit University of Keystone, 1-0, in a Sept. 28 United East Conference game.
Clarks Summit then tied Wilson College, 0-0. The Defenders are 1-0-1 in United East and 2-5-2 overall.
Keystone is 0-2 in the conference and 0-9-1 overall. The Giants have scored only two goals all season and have allowed 20.
FIELD HOCKEY
Keystone held Wilson College without a shot or penalty corner for three quarters Sept. 30 in a 2-0 shutout during the United East opener.
Miranda Mascia scored both goals on assists from Lucia Cisilino.
The Giants have won three straight to improve to 6-2 overall.
Vicky Mainero leads the team with six goals.
Maria Tomada, who has scored five times, and Mascia share the team lead with five assists. Mascio has four goals.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Keystone is 0-2 in the United East and 1-7 overall.
The Giants have been shut out six times. They broke loose Sept. 19 in an 8-0 rout of Wells College.
Victory Frantz and Hailey Dunham each scored twice and assisted on a goal.
Chloe Hoffman scored two goals while Brooke Freni added a goal and two assists.
Clarks Summit is 0-2 and 0-6 with five losses by shutout.
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Keystone recovered from an 0-5 start, then won five of six.
With one loss since their three-match losing streak, the Giants are 6-7.
Clarks Summit is 1-15.
All of the losses, including 12 straight to begin the season, were in three-set sweeps.
The Defenders defeated Life of Bible Institute in four sets Sept. 23. Amanda Buck had seven kills.
