Jenna Hillebrand finished her final regular season on a high note, scoring 89 points in the last four Lackawanna League Division 1 games and joining the 1,000-point club in the process.
Hillebrand scored 29 points in a 72-45 romp over second-place Valley View.
The 1,000th point came when Hillebrand scored 16 Feb. 6 in a 52-32 victory over Abington Heights.
Hillebrand had 25 more points in a 79-30 rout of West Scranton and 19 in the regular-season finale, a 72-38 romp of Wallenpaupack.
The Abington resident, an all-state selection a year ago, averages 17.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.0 assists. She set a Scranton Prep single-season record for 3-pointers and entered the state tournament with 75.
Scranton Prep went 14-0 in the Lackawanna for its eighth straight Division 1 title and seventh unbeaten season in that stretch. The Classics are 103-1 during that time.
