Factoryville Sportsmen’s Club “Turkey Shoot,” 9 a.m. Nov. 6 on club grounds, Lake Winola Road. Breakfast and lunch will be available in the kitchen. Prizes will include a frozen turkey or gift card. Rifle, handgun and shotgun competitions will be held.

TCMC 7th annual Turkey Trot 5k/10k run, 9 a.m. Nov. 6 at The Commonwealth Medical College’s Medical Sciences Building. Race day registration: 7 to 8:45 a.m. in the main lobby. The event will also feature a Tiny Trot, including a fun run and crafts for children age 13 and younger, beginning at 8:30. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Poor’s annual Thanksgiving community dinner. Online registration will close Nov. 3 at 11:59 p.m. The first 150 people to register will receive a T-shirt.
