Andrew Walker always wanted to have his own business. He opened Walker Family Electric in July 2023. It is located at 200 Abington Executive Park, Suite 201, Clarks Summit.

“We offer a comprehensive range of electrical services. We offer residential, commercial, industrial and specialty electric services. Our services range from electric vehicle charges and home automation systems to new builds and panel installations or upgrades and everything in between,” said Andrew Walker.

Andrews’s wife, Winter Walker, also works at the family-owned business. She manages billing, correspondence, vendor payments and payroll.

He was in the Electric Union Apprenticeship program before starting Walker Family Electric.

His wife graduated from Temple.

Andrew has roots spanning generations in the Abington area and has deep ties to the community. He decided to establish his business close to home as a natural choice so he could proudly serve and support the community.

“Serving our community has allowed us to meet many wonderful people and pursue my passion for electric work,” said Andrew Walker.

Winter Walker enjoys keeping things organized and running smoothly to ensure excellent service to the customers.

Andrew Walker gave this advice about opening a business:

“Do your research, Understand the market demand, competition and potential challenges in your chosen industry. Outline your business goal and build a strong network.”

The business is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a 24/7 emergency service for day, night or weekend.

Call 570-604-4722 to set up an appointment for any electrical problems, or call 570-575-2599 for any emergencies.
