SEPTEMBER SPOTLIGHTS

Library Card Sign-up Month

This September, celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month. The theme is “One Card, Endless Possibilities,” which reminds us that libraries are more than books. We’re for everyone — supporting every age, background, interest and goal.

Friends of ACL Open House

Meet the Friends of Abington Community Library on Saturday, Sept. 6 and learn how this impressive group of people support and enhance your Library! Food for the first 80 visitors (library or friends).

Visit multiple stations within the library and receive a free book.

Join Friends of Abington Community Library — $10 for an individual or $15 for a family membership.

Local Author Fair

ACL is excited to host its first Local Author Fair on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. Meet 20-plus talented authors from Northeast Pennsylvania, explore books in all genres, and hear the stories behind their work. Whether you’re searching for your next page-turner, a unique gift or a fun Saturday outing, the fair is the perfect place to connect with great reads and the people who write them.

For a complete list of participating authors, visit our website.
