The Center for Independent Living (CIL) received a $5,000 donation from First National Bank (FNB) for its Transitional Skills Center (TSC), at 530 Electric St. in Scranton. The donation is earmarked for food and kitchen supplies for the residential kitchen program. The Transitional Skills Center enables people with disabilities to develop workforce, social, emotional well-being, and self-sufficiency skills that promote success in adult living and employment. It is a resource for many school districts in the area whose students are enrolled in TSC programs.
