Make voting a fun family activity for everyone in your home with this easy project:

1. Grab some crayons or markers and a piece of paper.

2. Think of some categories or items to have your family vote on. Some examples are: “painting or coloring,” “coffee or tea,” “taking a bath or shower” or “hiking or swimming.”

3. After picking two specific items to have as choices, have each person in your family cast a vote on which one is his or her favorite. Then count one winner in each category.

Jacob Breckinridge and Gianna Familetti, who come to Kid’s Crew at the Dalton Community Library, talk over the winners of their ballots. One category on their ballot was ‘shopping or cleaning.’ That was a tough vote to cast!
