Kevin Vinson and Nicole Sinclair played very steady tennis to take the Labor Day Blind Draw Mixed Doubles tournament at Scranton Tennis Club. In the finals, they defeated John Lucas and Allison Tevald 5-1, after ousting John Sinclair and Angela Callahan 5-1 in the semifinals. Lucas and Tevald reached the final with a 5-3 win over Carlo Possanza and Aggie Izolt.

Vinson, Sinclair, and Possanza were the top male finishers in their round robin groups, while Lucas was the top 2nd-place finisher. On the women’s side, Sinclair, Tevald and Callahan were the top finishers in their round robin groups, with Izolt winning the coin toss over Jody Jackman to be the top 2nd place finisher.

John Weiss was the tournament director. This was the final competitive event of the season at STC.
